Code in Revit using Rhino/Grasshopper
This course is recorded with Rhino 7 and ironpython 2.7
In this course, we use GhPython in Rhino 7 to get a deeper understanding of Python in Grasshopper and create geometries and get to know the deeper layers of Python. We start with some topics that you asked for. Some data types and built-in functions such as tuple and dictionaries. Then we take a look at the format method and how it works with random to create amazing colors with Python that helps us generate animated geometries. Finally, as I promised in the Intro course, we will go through the Grasshopper library. Also, we will go over the difference between RhinoCommon and Rhinoscriptsyntax.
In the end, I will show you how to install Rhino inside Revit and start working with it in the simplest way. We start with some examples to warm-up and you will see how to use Grasshopper and Python in Revit and how to send geometries to Revit from Rhino
This course is for those who have finished Ghpython Introduction course and want to learn deeper.

Hi, I'm Niloofar Zaker...
I am a computational designer and Master of Sustainable Architecture at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and learning assistant at NTNU, working on parametric modeling in Rhino and Grasshopper with focus on Python and environmental analysis as well as Revit and BIM coaching.
Having an architectural background and several years of working experience in this field, I have found that coding is becoming the language of the near future, especially in the design and construction field, so I got deep into it and now I am here to share my experiences with you.
