2.2 Terrain operations

Time to practice:

After watching this session, follow these steps:

1- Use the created terrain in the previous practice (in session 1.2). First, turn on, all layers that are off. Then, elevate the rectangular red curve indicated in the image (file names: practice 2), to 2m / 6 ft height. Select the curve and use Rhino Gumball, to do so.

2- Now, create a flat area for this selected rectangular zone. (Use cut & fill command).

3- Then create a pathway on the terrain, with 3m/ 7 ft width using the curve indicated in the drawing (see image).

4- On top view, insert the list of terrain that is generated automatically.

5- Try to rename the terrain list, form the Lands Design edit panel. To do so, you need to select the terrain (click on terrain).
