Installation and Setup of RhinoLands
In this lesson, we will walk through the installation and setup process of RhinoLands.

It is important to ensure that your computer meets the minimum requirements to run the software smoothly.

How to install the free trial
As you know, a 60-day free trial is available on RhinoLands' official website. Follow carefully the steps to install and run the RhinoLands evaluation version:
- Login or create a new account in RhinoAccounts. (You will receive an email with a link to verify your account).
- Make sure you are logged in to Rhino Accounts.
- Go to the Download Rhino 8 for Windows Evaluation page and click the “Agree to McNeel’s Privacy Policy” checkbox. The page will show your Rhino 8 Evaluation license key. Save this key somewhere.
- Download and install RhinoLands from this link.
How to run the program
- Finish the installation
After the installer completes successfully, a new RhinoLands shortcut will appear on your desktop. - Launch RhinoLands
Double-click the RhinoLands desktop icon to open the program. (You can also start Rhino first and then switch to the Lands Design workspace if you prefer.) - Activate the evaluation license (if prompted).
- Rhino will ask for an evaluation license key the first time you start.
- Copy and paste the Rhino 8 license key you obtained in the previous step of the setup wizard. (step 3 of installation)
- Click Continue to complete activation.
That’s it! RhinoLands should now be ready to use.
